The US government’s open stores of big data are among the services that have been inactive for 15 days and counting as part of the federal shutdown.

Companies that rely on databases including the US Census, the Bureau of Labour Statistics, and the Data.gov directory of datasets will be affected as all non-essential federal staff have been suspended. The big data sources have either gone offline or are not processing any new information.
